手ぬぐい「トンボ（青）」 江戸小紋
日本の伝統文様「とんぼ」柄を手拭いに染め上げました。トンボは「前にしか進めない」という習性から「勝ち虫（かちむし）」と呼ばれ、不転退の縁起物として武士から親しまれていました。現代でも剣士に伝承され、剣道で使う手ぬぐい柄として好まれて使われています。また、害虫を取り除く貴重な益虫として「五穀豊穣」の象徴ともされています。
爽やかな快晴の空をイメージし清々しい青で染め上げました。風水では青は邪気を浄化し冷静さとリフレッシュをもたらし、勝負運を上げる色とされています。
手拭に込められた縁起の良い意味と共にお正月飾りやお年賀、誕生日プレゼントや出産祝い・初節句祝いなどおめでたい時節のプレゼントにおすすめ。また、日本の伝統工芸品「手拭」は外国の方へのギフトやおみやげにも喜ばれます。

Tenugui “Dragonfly(blue)”
This tenugui is dyed in a refreshing blue color with a pattern of dragonflies happily flying in the clear sky.
Dragonflies were called “kachi-mushi” (meaning “victory bug”) because of their habit of only moving forward, and were popular among samurai as good luck charms for “never turning back. Even today, it has been handed down to swordsmen and is used as a favorite pattern for kendo’s tenugui. It is also a symbol of a good harvest as a valuable insect that removes pests.
The dragonfly pattern has been loved by Japanese people since ancient times. Even today, it can be used in a variety of ways, not only as a handkerchief, but also as a handmade material for making baby clothes, masks, etc.
